Maggot King Combat Achievements

On 22 July 2026 (Summer Sweep-Up), Jagex shipped nine Combat Achievements for the Maggot King totaling 41 points. Tiers run Hard → Elite → Master. There are no Grandmaster tasks — Jagex stated they did not find a GM task that changed the fight in a meaningful way.

Complete basic kill count tasks first, then restriction and perfection CAs once your kill time and movement are stable. Pair this page with the Maggot King guide.

• Maggot Squasher (Hard, 3) — Kill the Maggot King.
• Trying to fit in (Elite, 4) — Kill using only weapons found in Vampyrium.
• Maggot Exterminator (Elite, 4) — 25 kills.
• King-sized clobbering (Master, 5) — Do not miss a single melee punish.
• Cordoned Off (Master, 5) — Stay on the back row of tiles.
• Digging in (Master, 5) — Move no more than 40 tiles.
• Maggot King Speed Chaser (Master, 5) — First 5 kills within 9 minutes of entering.
• Perfect Maggot King (Master, 5) — No avoidable damage and no boss healing.
• Camping the King (Master, 5) — 12 kills without leaving the arena.

Vampyrium-weapons-only: bring Hallowed flail, Sunspear, Crimson kisten, and other regional weapons — leave Scythe/Twisted bow in the bank for that kill.

Movement CAs: Digging in and Cordoned Off conflict with panic kiting. Learn hazard telegraphs from the July 8 visual clarity patch before attempting them.

Speed Chaser: requires five clean kills under a nine-minute clock from instance entry — bank chest and scout unlocks are mandatory prep.

Camping: inventory overflow now lasts three hours on the ground; still manage inventory so loot does not force a leave.
