Sangvesti Setup

Before farming the Maggot King, invest one session in Sangvesti logistics. The Aranei scout, bank chest, and Agility shortcuts cut minutes off every trip and are effectively mandatory for Combat Achievement speed tasks.

From Castle Drakan portal, run east. South-east of Sangvesti an Aranei scout is attacked by three sanguidae. Kill all three, talk to the scout, then find them again south of the bank chest map icon. The scout teleports you just east of Sangvesti on demand.

Since 8 July 2026 the scout outside Castle Drakan can also pull coins from Death's Coffer or the bank when retrieving gravestones — useful while learning Maggot King deaths.

Requirements: 70 Construction (boostable), hammer, saw, 1 magic stone, 2 cupronickel bars, 2 adamantite bars, 4 ironwood planks.

Build near the blood fountain / Sangvesti map bank icon. Restock brews, restores, and style-swap weapons without leaving Vampyrium.

Two woodland shortcuts require 64 Agility. Use them after the scout drop-off to reach the Maggot King entrance near the Ruined Village faster.
