Maggot Marquess

Maggot marquess is the Maggot King boss pet. You choose loot mode on every kill: Open-stomach keeps the unique table and rolls the pet as a tertiary at 1/3,500. Take-eggs discards normal loot for egg rolls whose combined pet chance is about 1/1,502.4 per egg-take.

Decide before each corpse interaction. If you still need fang or kisten, Open-stomach. Once uniques are secured (or bought), switch to Take-eggs for faster pet EV. Egg tiers (base, sickly, warm, pulsating, wriggling, writhing) have different pop odds — rarer eggs contribute more to the aggregate rate.

Bring inventory space; July 8 removed the misleading “half digested food” message on Take-eggs. Camping CAs and pet hunts pair well once the bank chest is built.
