Blood Moon Rises Requirement Checker
Verify Before You Start
The Blood Moon Rises is a Grandmaster quest with strict skill gates and two mandatory prerequisite quests. Starting without meeting every requirement wastes hours when a skill check blocks progression mid-quest. This interactive checker compares your entered levels and quest completion against official requirements so you know exactly what remains.
Requirements are not boostable unless noted. Temporary boosts will not work at skill check dialogue. Ensure base levels meet thresholds before boarding the boat to the Icyene Graveyard.
How to Use This Tool
Enter your current skill levels in the form below and toggle whether you have completed Sins of the Father and A Night at the Theatre. Click Check Requirements to see pass or fail status for each gate. Failed items link to preparation guides on our requirements hub and skill requirements page.
For quest chain context including every Myreque prerequisite, read the quest chain guide. For inventory preparation before the first fight, see the quest inventory build.
Recommended Preparation
Beyond minimum requirements, Jagex recommends combat level 110 or higher for Lord Drakan and the Wyrd. Train prayer to at least 70 for extended Protect from Melee and Magic switches. Complete Desert Treasure II or Inferno-style PvM practice if Drakan mechanics are new to you.
Gather blisterwood weapons, Efaritay's aid rings, and standard brew restore supplies before quest start. Vampyrium segments replace conventional food with quest-specific consumables, but early Morytania fights still use normal inventory items.
Watch the quest requirements prep guide for a structured checklist covering skills, quests, gear, and teleport unlocks in recommended order.
After You Pass
Once every requirement shows Ready, begin at the quest start walkthrough. Keep the full walkthrough hub open for sectional navigation during your six to ten hour first clear.
Return to this checker if you alt or ironman multiple accounts. Requirements have not changed since launch but verifying before each attempt prevents embarrassing boat rides back to Burgh de Rott.
