For Darkmeyer defence, Slepe investigation, Castle Drakan traversal, and most vyrewatch fights, run your best melee setup with Bandos or equivalent, fire cape, berserker ring, and blisterwood flail. Carry saradomin brews, super restores, super combat, and a dramen staff or lumbridge elite diary for fairy ring access.

Drakan phases mix melee, magic, and ranged pressure. Bring hallowed flail or blisterwood flail, Efaritay's aid, full melee switch, magic switch with ancient staff or trident, and ranged switch for blood wave segments. Quest supplies include rancid slimy potions and jars of congealed blood instead of conventional food during Vampyrium instances.

The Maggot King is a post-quest solo boss with Inferno-level difficulty. Most successful kills use max melee or bowfa setups with rigour or piety active throughout. Inventory space is tight due to long fight duration. Study the Maggot King build page before your first trip.
