Sunspear Quest Reward

The Sunspear is an untradeable two-handed special attack weapon awarded upon completing The Blood Moon Rises. It is received automatically alongside the Hallowed Flail and XP tomes — no reward selection required.

Its special attack, Seeking Lunge, costs 50% special attack energy and guarantees 70% of maximum hit damage on a successful hit. Against vampyres, Sunspear gained +25% accuracy and +50% damage as of the July 8, 2026 patch.

During the quest, Sunspear covers ranged phases in Wyrd and Lord Drakan fights without consuming arrow slots. Post-quest, it remains a solid backup for Vampyre Slayer and Venators tasks before upgrading to Twisted bow or Tumeken's shadow.

If you completed the quest with a full inventory and missed Sunspear, speak to Efaritay after the July 8 patch to claim a free replacement.
