Inventory slots are scarce during the quest. Quest items, teleports, food, prayer restores, and gear swaps compete for space. Remove redundant jewellery and cosmetic items before Castle Drakan.

Prayer beats minor DPS upgrades. Lord Drakan punishes missed overhead prayers more than missing one tier of offensive gear. Carry extra prayer potions before upgrading weapons.

Post-quest builds optimize DPS. Maggot King instances allow bank presets with maximum offensive gear and standardized food counts. Treat learning builds separately from farm builds.

Carrying duplicate combat styles without organized inventory rows causes misclicks during prayer switches. Dedicate fixed slots to melee, ranged, and magic swaps and practice swaps at bank before long quest sessions.

Overstacking food while understacking prayer potions fails Lord Drakan more often than the reverse. Grandmaster fights punish missed prayers with full health bar chunks; extra food cannot compensate for three consecutive misprayers.

Using Maggot King farm presets during quest finale wastes slots on spec weapons you cannot yet use effectively. Trim presets to quest phase requirements before Drakan pull.

Label bank tabs BMR-Quest, BMR-Drakan, BMR-MK-learn, and BMR-MK-farm. Consistent naming prevents loading wrong inventory into wrong instance during late-night sessions.

Include screenshot of preset in personal notes if playing multiple accounts. Muscle memory from main account layouts causes misclicks on alts with different tab ordering.
